Prior to joining Longfellow, Kara served as Senior Associate in the San Diego office of real estate capital markets intermediary HFF where she was responsible for over $2.2 billion of life science, office and industrial investment sales and over $1.0 billion of debt placements.

    Chris High, Vice Chair and Co-Lead Life Science Practice Southwest, Colliers

    Considered among the top commercial life science and office professionals in San Diego, Chris and his team specialize in multi-tenant and corporate headquarters life science and office leasing, emphasizing strategic landlord services and countywide tenant representation. Prior to joining Colliers in 2024, Chris held an Executive Managing Director position at Newmark for nearly eight years, where he and his team completed over $1 billion in deal volume, encompassing 547 transactions.

    Jim is responsible for ensuring Longfellow’s design and construction projects are aligned with their strategic vision and mission. His 30+ year career includes a wide variety of complex Life Science projects totaling over 25 million square feet. Jim is a Registered Architect and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional. Jim is also a Past-President of the ISPE Carolina-South Atlantic Chapter, Past-Chairman of the ISPE Facility of the Year Awards Committee, and Project Management Community of Practice Leadership Chair.

    David H.
