In partnership with BIO, Investor Connect Plus is an exclusive, curated investor access program designed for established, investor-ready life sciences companies with validated science, demonstrated maturity, and defined capital strategies.
Reserved for BIO member companies with clear capital needs and measurable clinical, technical, or commercial progress, Investor Connect Plus facilitates targeted, one-to-one meetings with institutional and strategic investors actively deploying capital across the life sciences ecosystem. The monthly program emphasizes thoughtful matchmaking, preparation, and efficiency, leading to direct, focused conversations aligned around stage, sector, and strategic interest.
This series is reserved for companies that currently maintain an active BIO membership. We consider Late Seed through Series A–F private life sciences companies and mature, private companies with commercial assets in the global market that demonstrate technical and organizational maturity, have defined capital needs and a clear use of proceeds, and maintain active BIO membership. Entrepreneur applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are considered each month based on the investor’s portfolio interests.

Luma Group
Luma Group is a New York-based early-stage life sciences venture capital firm founded in 2023. They invest primarily in therapeutics, medical devices, and diagnostics, with a particular focus on preclinical therapeutics at the critical transition from discovery to development. Luma is modality- and disease-agnostic, and their primary focus is on funding substantially differentiated technologies and platforms. They are also flexible on the company stage, moving earlier or later when we develop strong conviction in a technology and its underlying assets. A few notable investments that Luma led in the past 18 months include SciThera (seed), Aeovian (Ph1), Character (IND-enabling), Vaccine Company (build).
