Bridging the gap between innovation and capital
RA Capital
Focus on Biotech Therapeutic Companies
Program
RA Capital is a multi-stage investment manager focused on company creation and evidence-based investing across the healthcare and life sciences sectors. The firm invests in companies developing therapeutics, medical devices, diagnostics, research tools, and life science-enabling technologies. RA Capital’s global portfolio includes both private and public companies and spans nearly all therapeutic areas and stages, from discovery through commercialization.
Event
LaunchBio, Browne Consulting, and Silicon Valley Bank, a division of First Citizens Bank, with support by Fondation Ipsen, are pleased to announce their next Investor Connect virtual event with RA Capital.
RA Capital primarily targets therapeutics companies raising Seed through Series B rounds. Companies that already have, or are expected to secure a Development Candidate as part of the current financing are typically the strongest fit. While the firm invests across various stages, it favors companies with de-risked assets, proximity to the clinic, and a clear path to meaningful milestones. Ideally, companies should be positioned to achieve clinical proof-of-concept with the current or subsequent funding round. RA Capital partners with teams advancing high-impact science to build transformative, long-lasting biotech companies.
