Bridging the gap between innovation and capital
Samsara BioCapital
Focus on Biotech Therapeutic Companies
Program
Samsara BioCapital is a Palo Alto-based biotech investment firm focused on innovative therapeutics for patients with high unmet medical need. Samsara applies rigorous, venture-style diligence across both private and public markets and invests across the full biotech lifecycle, from company creation through late-stage and public companies.
OPPORTUNITY
LaunchBio, Citrin Cooperman, and First Citizens Innovation Banking, with support by Fondation Ipsen, are pleased to announce their next Investor Connect virtual event with Samsara BioCapital.
The firm takes a 10-to-15-year view to its investments and works hands on with founders on strategy, financing and building leadership teams. Its portfolio spans oncology, immunology, ophthalmology, cardiometabolic, neuroscience and rare disease. Right now, Samsara is especially excited to meet teams with potential best-in-class or first-in-class programs grounded in strong biology, platforms capable of generating multiple programs, and scientific founders with transformational ideas where it can partner from the earliest stages of company formation. Samsara also prefers to work with companies with Development Candidates, but can look earlier.
