Venrock Ventures

Focus on Biotech Therapeutic Companies

Program

Originally established as the venture capital arm of the Rockefeller family in 1969, Venrock partners with entrepreneurs to build some of the world’s most disruptive and successful companies. With a primary focus on technology and healthcare, Venrock’s portfolio companies include 10X Genomics, Apple Computer, AveXis, Check Point Software, CloudFlare, Dollar Shave Club, Gilead Sciences, Idec Pharma, Illumina, Intel, Millennium Pharma, and Nest.

Event

LaunchBio, Citrin Cooperman, and Silicon Valley Bank, a Division of First Citizens Bank, with support by Fondation Ipsen, are pleased to announce their next Investor Connect virtual event with Venrock.

Venrock is currently investing out of Venrock 10, a $650M fund. On the biotech/therapeutics side of the practice, the firm is modality- and therapeutic-area-agnostic. Venrock invests in great people, doing great science, and building platforms or programs that will dramatically improve the standard of care for patients and prefers first-in-class and platform-enabled modality innovation.
