Bridging the gap between innovation and capital
Luma Group
Focus on Biotech Therapeutic Companies
Program
Luma Group is an early-stage venture capital fund focused exclusively on life sciences. They invest in therapeutic, diagnostic, and medical device companies from Seed through Series B. They typically write initial checks from $5m – $20m and lead or co-lead financings but are also open to pre-seed and seed stages for promising companies.
Luma has a technology-first investment thesis and invests primarily in platform companies developing first-in-class or best-in-class assets. They partner with visionary founders to build transformative companies, not just by investing capital, but by sharing deep industry expertise, strategic guidance, and a strong network to help them grow and scale.
